OUR PEOPLE.

CO-FOUNDER / CEO KURT ROYAN
Kurt grew up as an earthmover’s son, so he literally knows a thing or two about getting his hands dirty and being in the trenches - skills that apparently lend themselves well to being a producer of film and television. Kurt is the CEO of The Post Lounge Group which encompasses Australia’s largest post house, THE POST LOUNGE, VFX Studio RESIN, and Orange Entertainment Co.

CO-FOUNDER / PARTNER & EP DAN LAKE
Dan is a producer whose love of financing is only eclipsed by his love of a bone-dry vodka martini (formerly with a twist - now three olives). Prior to starting OEC, Dan worked as a producer and entertainment executive at production companies, broadcasters and funding bodies, and has hands-on experience across narrative, documentaries and reality television – including the Venice-Days-award-winning feature film EARLY WINTER. If he could be a “Real Housewife of…” for a day he’d be Kyle due to her love of drama and accessories.
-
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER / EP GEORGIA WOODWARD
Georgia brings a wealth of experience in content strategy and production, her work has been recognised across all major markets including MIPCOM, AACTA, Realscreen and Screen Producers Australia. Georgia has secured commissions and delivered for BBC, ABC, Netflix, SBS, CBC, Sky, Nine Network, Ten, The New York Times and Yahoo. Outside of her production work, Georgia is recognised worldwide for her homemade margarita cocktail recipe, obsessed with ocean swimming (though scared of waves) and loves reading astrology. She is also pretending to learn Spanish with her partner.

HEAD OF CONTENT DIYA EID
Diya is a development queen and seasoned fangirl with a dark sense of humour. She is equally fixated with HBO drama and Bravo duh-rama. Her love languages are Seinfeld quotes, scary movies and cheese-fries. Diya is a writer's best friend and has overseen the development and production of award-winning scripted and factual content including with Stan, SBS, ABC, Audible, SXSW, Screamfest LA, La Boite Theatre Co. and a number of shorts (including a Sitges winner). She is looking for obsession-worthy stories that make her laugh, scream or ugly-cry.

CONSULTING PRODUCER MEG O’CONNELL
Meg O’Connell is an International Emmy® award-winning, hoodie-wearing producer and founder of Unless Pictures. She’s built a career telling bold, emotionally charged stories and eating Oreos like they’re popcorn. She somehow made a six-part lockdown comedy (RETROGRADE, ABC)in four months, worked to develop the world’s favourite dog (BLUEY, ABC) and played with fire while producing WINDCATCHER (Stan/ACTF). Unlike everyone else, she can watch THE BEAR without taking a sedative — THE BEAR is her sedative. She tells big-hearted stories with bite and loves buying unnecessary gifts for cast and crew on set.

ASSOCIATE PRODUCER - DEVELOPMENT DANI HAYEK
Dani (they/them) is an Associate Producer first and a The Devil Wears Prada historian second...a very close second. They love stories that have an authentic voice and camp sensibility, and are passionate about combining heart with humour in their writing. Dani's not-so-romantic comedy Pastabate premiered at Sydney Fringe Festival before a mainstage run at La Mama in 2024. They have also developed works for Banksia Festival and through the National Studio writers residency. Dani has been published in L.Paterno’s book, This is Not a Love Letter, Twenty Something Humans and Concrete Queers.
